Does this driver support Analysis Services as well?

No, the SQL Server Driver fo PHP has no support for Analysis Services. It is strictly a data access component for PHP using ODBC and the SQL Server 2008 Driver Native Client.

Well, get on that. I'd like to have it by the end of the week. ;-)

Given that the driver is shared source, I invite you to add the functionality. :)

Mitch, I agree with Jay here. I found it extremely positive and refreshing that Microsoft released a php driver. I've been a Windows C/C++ developer for 20 years, and based on my experience it was surprising that MS wanted to open up and support
other areas like php directly. I would not like to discourage this by disparagement.
If you're not a low level programmer, you might want to look at php's interfaces to COM, Soap, and ODBC, and use those instead.

I should have included my <sarcasm></sarcasm> markup. I do think that it's great that MS is extending support outside of the usual .NET / VB / etc. stack. I'll take a look at a COM solution.
Thanks,
Mitch

I voted... Wish more people knew how to use and actually used SSAS on a smaller scale - There's so much potential that not having this out of the box is a shame.
